MOC-99393 Medieval Pirate Corsair Fortress Model SetFeatures:.Designed and authorized by JonnyBricksmith, the original super fortress of the pirates features abundant&nonredundant details and incredibly detailed cohesion for immersive fun and enjoyment in assembly. Compatible with Pirates of Barracuda Bay 21322.Level 1 (lowest): At the front, we have the jetty and stairs leading to the second level but also gates to the dungeon. This dungeon has a feature hole-in-the-wall for breakouts and some other prison features. Around the back, there is a cave which goes under the island, complete with smugglers cove style jetty and of course TREASURE hidden behind the movable spider’s web! On this level, sections of the build are removable or hinged to allow maximum access and visibility. Plenty of shoreline features too such as the campfire, trees, and grave.Level 2 (middle): Level 2 is built into the island rock and contains the pirate bar! It’s grog o’clock me hearties! There is an attached wooden shack-style extension to the bar and a long table and submodel telescope. Behind the bar is a model skull and crossbones for effect. On the other side of level 2 accessible from the bar and from the back is the booze store – 4 big kegs, you know, just in case…Level 3 (top): The top-level contains a prison cell with a working mechanism trapdoor built-in. The payoff for completing all three levels is that when you pull the lever, the cell trapdoor opens and the prisoner falls all the way down through level 2 and is deposited via a shoot to the dungeon on the lowest level! The mechanism is tried and tested – pull the lever to open the trapdoor and push it back in to reset :) Access to the prison is possible with a removable rock wall and hinged inner wall. Also on the top tier is the armory – with all sorts of weaponry available and which swings out from the rockface for easy access. There is a planning table with a map and compass, cannons, a fishing winch set at an angle, and a ladder leading to the very top. Perched on top of the island, over the rope bridge is the private captain’s cabin! Here, there are shelves, a bedside table, and beds bed with a writing desk (as if pirates could write) for scribbling down the detail of the latest mutiny!
